"Design & Thinking" - Film

design-thinking.jpg

How do we fully engage organizations to think about the changing landscape of business, culture and society? Inspired by design thinking, this documentary grabs businessman, designers, social change-makers and individuals to portrait what they have in common when facing this ambiguous 21st century. What is design thinking? How is it applied in business models? How are people changing the world with their own creative minds? It is a call to the conventional minds to change and collaborate.

Vanguard Views

vanguard-views.jpg

Experimental artistic practices in the early 20th century reflected an era of new experiences. Soaring skyscrapers, zooming motorcars, and electric streetlights transformed cities and extended life. Improved communication, travel, and mechanized production of affordable commodities provided more convenient ways of life. This fast-paced urban experience inspired avant-garde artists to develop visual languages that communicated energy, simplicity, and functionality. Subsequently, this modernist aesthetic easily translated into the design of mass-produced wares, collapsing distinctions between high art and everyday objects. Vanguard Views explores how these unprecedented forms of visual expression rewrote the rules of artistic practice by creating a living art that transcended traditional boundaries. The exhibit will run until February 1, 2014.
